Plus 4 straight, with a likely 5th in a row this season.
You are chiding Oregon about wins! And OMG and the words "Rose Bowl" should be the last word coming out of your doggie lips after your last two embarrassing post season losses. You guy's couldn't even beat the lowly Cougars this year and it was Washington who "Coug'd It" this time. Sarks 4 year PAC record is 1 win over .500 ....and that sir is a fact.
The bowl ban from 2003-2009 was brutal as well.
Im glad to see you folks starting to recover from that.
I kid, I kid.
I work with a Husky. He is just like all you knuckleheads. Lives 25 years in the past. Thinks this will be the year every year. It truly is an embarrassment what your football program has turned into. You have been beat by an average of 4 TD's but the ducks for a decade. If we didn't play our walk on's it would have been 6 TD's in most the games. You are not even competitive with us anymore and yet you still have posts like this. This year will be awful and then you lose Price (who sucks anyway but is better than anyone else you have).
As long as you have the coach that you have, I have no worries. Your even trying to copy our offense now. You are a bunch of wanna - be's. There is not one Husky who wouldn't give their eye teeth to have the program the Ducks have. NOT ONE.
Maybe 9 straight could be the reason you feel this way.
nope, its the fact that you havent won anything significant yet the schmuck fan base acts like they have been there.
if you were alabama id get it but until you have a crystal trophy or multiple rose bowl wins or BCS bowl wins then there will be no respect
I went to the last game at the old husky stadium with my 8 yr old daughter vs oregon. before the game i took her to see the national title trophy. It is absolutely beautiful. MANY duck fans were staring and yes drooling over it. My daughter looks up at me and says ," dad is that why oregon hates UW so much?"
this all in front of at least a dozen duck fans. I stood silent for a few seconds , looked around and started laughing.
YES it was a whie ago but until your professionally funded college wins one The arrogance will not be respected by this UW alum EVER
schools that have won a title ACT like we've been there

The Washington Huskies have won 15 Pacific-10 Conference championships, seven Rose Bowl titles, and two national championships recognized by the NCAA, one being a split title with the Miami Hurricanes football team in 1991 as the Huskies were ranked #1 in the Coaches Poll and Miami was ranked #1 in the AP Poll.
Oregon National championships:
Through March 2013, Oregon has won 21 NCAA national championships: NONE in FOOTBALL EVER
Men's Basketball: 1939
Men's Cross Country: 1971, 1973, 1974, 1977, 2007, 2008
Women's Cross Country: 1983, 1987, 2012
Men's Track & Field: 1962, 1964, 1965, 1970, 1984
Women's Track & Field: 1985
Men's Indoor Track & Field: 2009
Women's Indoor Track & Field: 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013
rose bowls won? 2 one in 1917 and then finally one last year
hmmmm Track school?
We've finished in the the top 25 every year since 2006. We've ranked in the top ten the last 3 years, and can claim 2 bcs bowl victories and almost a NC if not for the infamous michael dyer incident. Your team hasn't finished the year ranked in....I don't know.
And there's always 9 in a row. Why do you make me say these things, butt puppy? You already know them. Why do you insist on us rubbing salt in your wounds?
agreed? Why are you so nice to illmatic when we feel the exact same way?
that was creepy, I thought that said "illuminati" at first, eeew!
Anyway, listen folks, you can sling mud back and forth all day, but the fact is that both programs have seen and tasted a lot of glory. You guys more recently, Husky fans more over the past four decades, but less so in this one. Why not just have fun, enjoy the ride, and wait until the Dawgs and Ducks meet on the field and duke it out? I don't think anyone will win this argument, the Huskies have had more OVERALL success for a longer period of time, but Oregon has moved up the ladder in the past 10 years and no one can deny them that. The Huskies are turning the corner, and the Ducks' most successful coach just left, what will happen from here on out? Who knows, but it's going to be a crazy rivalry all the same.

The only time people dislike gossip is when you gossip about them--Will Rogers
Oregon's previous claim to fame WAS track -- which is where Phil Knight came from.
and i would venture that a rose and a fiesta, in a row, qualifies as "multiple BCS bowl wins." both BCS games. more than one. multiple.
and don't forget that we were one fluke play away from that crystal football.
the best part? future looks even better.
How many makes multiple? We got 3 bcs wins. How many you got?
I could be wrong but another season or two like the Ducks are having would equal the best 10 year span of any schoool in the Pacific NW and one of best in all of the PAC history. While I congratulate the Huskies on thier wonder years Oregon is tied for 7th in most BCS appearances (tied with Alabama and LSU). Lets not pretend we are a flash in the pan. Next year we will pass USC for the most wins over the last 15 years of any team in the PAC-12. The level of domiance that seems to be spreading slowly to multiple sports programs is making Oregon among the very elite in the nation - though far behind Stanford and UCLA.
Showing off a lil self restraint by not posting it? Are you the same Ruth? ;)

"Release Me Cuhhhhhhhh"
Most dawg really don't act like they've been there which makes sense because most were too young or not alive to remember the split national title
Those glory years sure do seem far away, huh?
Fact: the last time the mutts beat Oregon on the football field, the current recruits were in 2nd grade.
It's time for Huskies to accept that the glory days are never coming back. You're regulated to the back of the PAC. Be happy with 7-5. It could be worse.
I won't say it's a rumor, it's more of a conspiracy theory I believe -- the person I spoke with made a convincing argument, but I don't buy it -- really. There's more at stake here than just Oregon's NCAA deal, we're talking about Penn State, Miami, etc.
That's cute and all dawg, why don't you show the history of ohhhhhh lets say the last ten years. If You have to go back 25 years to brag then its not relevant. ....just like the huskies
Green Yellow is correct. The Husky football program will never again in its future seasons win more than 7 games. And, conversely, the Ducks will continue to win Pac 12 championships and BCS games in perpetuity. You know, I don't know why we even play football games and I certainly don't know why we as Husky fans bother to come onto this site with hopes and expectations that we will be a contender some time in the future. It would appear, from some of the comments posted, that such a futile endeavor would be a waste of everybody's time. On the other hand, maybe us Huskies on this board are just fans of Husky/college football and hold out hope and expectation that we will compete for a conference championship because we love our team and we know what's like to be at the top.
I get that if some stupid husky troll came over to the Duck board and started talking trash about how the Huskies own the Ducks and are the historical juggernaut of the Pac 10 etc. etc. Duck fans would rally and rightfully beat down that poster. But, you are on our board. I would hope that, despite your obvious disgust for Husky football program and its fans, you could conduct yourselves with a little perspective. By perspective I mean that this is our fan site where people who obviously are biased in favor of Husky football congregate. I haven't been over to the Duck site hosted by 247 sports so I can't speak to who shows up there periodically. I can say that the posters that are on this board and who I have posted with for years are not the type of people who go onto other people's sites looking to stir the pot. Generally speaking, this group consists of very loyal fans that love Husky football. Shocker: you aren't going to find a lot of love for the Ducks on this message board. However, if you want to come over and talk Duck/Husky/college football or engage in some friendly rivalry on game week, I think you would be most welcome.
Honestly, I am so sick of the UW/Oregon debate because it's the same tired arguments from both sides: Duck fans believe that the only important era of football is the last 15 years and that nothing anybody did in the past, especially the Huskies, matters one iota. Husky fans, on the other hand, don't want to admit to themselves that Husky football has been in the veritable toilet for the last 15 years while Duck football (and numerous other Pac teams) enjoy success because it's really hard when you were at the top to be at the bottom. I honestly think that much of the problem is in the fan base of each program. Much of the posters on the Husky side are younger, many of whom never experienced the zenieth of Husky football. They just know of it and it makes them act like a bunch of bush league morons. On the other hand, it seems to me that Duck football has amassed a huge fanbase in the last 15 years of folks that only know Duck football success and never really experienced the lows of Duck football. As a consequence, they conduct themselves like a bunch of hillbillies that just won the lottery. I guess, it's tough to empathize with somebody when you can't relate to their experiences. Husky fans who experienced the highs and now the lows like some Duck fans I think seem to keep both extremes in perspective and realize they are not everlasting. I've had a number of really enjoyable conversations in person with lots of Duck fans--they were all older fans that had this perspective. They are loving the current success of the Duck program and really appreciate it given where the program was for so many years. They also understand that being at the bottom really is a terrible place to be because they sat in the stands like Husky fans have over the last 15 years and watched 3-5 win seasons with regularity (never a 0 win season, that stands as a real crowning jewel in the Husky football crown).
Anyhow, just some thoughts on this. I guess I don't mind if somebody wants to come over and rub our faces in the Ducks record over UW in the last 8 years or whatever on game week. But, to say that Husky football is never going to be competitive again and the Duck football will always be great is such an outlandish claim that I felt compelled to address it. That and the number of Duck posters who appeared out of nowhere to start taking shots. Let me congratulate the Duck program on what has been one of the best runs of college football success in recent years. You should be proud of that success. Take care,
Minor correction...WAS and IS CURRENTLY...STILL!!
