Arizona lineman, Natrell Curtis had given the Huskies a nod on Monday, but waited to make the announcement official today.
The 247 4-star tackle had been thought to have been an early lean to Arizona, but revealed two weeks ago to Realdawg.com that he was "really feeling the Huskies", and a big part of that was the continual rapport Curis has with Tosh Lupoi.
"I love talking to Coach Lupoi", Curtis said, "He's always making sure I"m doing okay and I know Washington will be a great school for me."
Curtis is in school right now and we had these quotes saved and in the can, so to speak, and we'll have more on his decision later this afternoon.
Curtis was planning to make his announcement on Twitter this morning, which he did.
Curtis is a huge pick up for the Huskies; he's been an offensive lineman but the Huskies want him at D-line.
He had put on some extra pounds during the early summer but committed himself to getting back to his junior season playweight and has been steadfast in doing so.
